2002 Ford Fusion Repair Question

Ford Fusion Engine Problem
I need to replace my engine in my car so ive brought an engine same year and cc and model to fit from ford spares essex highly recommend. been told just drop it in start it up and it will go,no recoding to be done,.But now been told diesel pump will need swapping and ecu needs recoding by one garage yet another says it dont even ford spares where engine is from says no need to HELP please.

I believe that you should be able to drop the engine in and run with no problem, if it was the same engine as you mention, there should be no problems.

call ford for an explanation as they sold this unit to you. have them contact the shop for updates

I did not say that at all. you need to verify what has to be done from the manufacturer.
