2002 Ford Freestyle Repair Question

Ford Freestyle Battery Problem
Key always gets stuck in hatch lock after opening i have to force it back to get it out, so now use the boot relese switch inside the car ,latley this has stopped opening the hatch ,could it be a battery problem. carl

check fuses first, then try wd-40 in hatch lock. it could be a relay bad or ground or the latch motor itself
