2002 Ford Focus Repair Question

Will not turn over
Will not turn over,buzzing noisie, fryed starter cable, ran it over part that gets hot ,run new cable under part that gets hot. replaced 30amp fuse and # 17 relay .ran great before it melted the cable. all new moter , has 400 miles on it now, all tore apart when i got it.

Your starter may be drawing too much current. You will have t test the starter draw. Anything over 200amps is too much.
