Overheating
Had work done on ford focus 1.6 zetec 2002 engine stripped new piston rings fitted new head gasket water pump works fine new thermostat fitted but car was overheating so had ford thermostat fitted still overheating car runs fine with no thermostat checked thermostat opening fine

have you had the radiator cleaned, it may be part blocked, just a flush will not be enough, the tanks need to be removed and the core cleaned.
