I have a 2002 explorer xlt with the timing chain problem I found a complete low milage engine but it is out of a 2005 ranger is the long block the same can I make it work in my explorer any help would be greatly appreciated.

Used auto parts have the software and should be able to tell you what year and what models fit what
give your local used auto part a call (junk yard)
