Drivers door chime is allways on as soon as I open the door. Turns off when I turn on ignition

When I open the drivers side door the door chime starts to ring. I have to put the key in ignition switch and turn to on position so it will stop. But I dont want to have the ignition on when im cleaning my car.

That is a program into the bcm or gem module. It cannot be changed.

Can the door switch be tricked into thinking door is shut?
