What will that do please explain further. I was under the impression that if I unplug the MAF sensor car would not operate.

Ok I did as you suggested and disconnected the mass air flow sensor and it was acting much worse which leads me to believe it is working. Should I do the same with the o2 sensors 1 at a time to see if unplugging 1 has no change and assume that it is not functioning?
