2002 Fiat Punto Repair Question

Got fiat punto 1.9 diesel drive it for a mile then stops try to start it engine turns but does not start leave it for a few hours then starts drive again for about amile and stops again try to start and does not start try in mornig starts no prob drive a
Car stops about amile in journey then will not start leave it for a few hours and starts again then goes for a mile and cuts out again then stars later on samething again not air lock some says it coukld be the mobiliser any ideas

If it has a camshaft position sensor have it checked-sorry! no type of information available on this vehicle-
