The fan blower switch has 4 speed settings. The lowest setting quit working about one year ago. Over time the other settings quit working, now only speed that works is the highest setting. Is this something that I can replace with my shade tree mechanic know how? It seems to me that its just the switch itself but thats why I am here?

There is the a/c resister plate. It has 3 or 4 rows of coiled wires. This controls the blower speed. Its mounted under the hood in the a/c case so it can stay cool. Not sure where on your car. Follow the wires to find it. Pick 1 up so youll know what to look for. Ty for using 2carpros

Mine is doing the same thing and I replaced my resistor and nothing changed its still doing the same thing. When I kick the bottom, it starts blowing hard but soon it goes back to not blowing at all. It's 109 in Texas right now and it's so hot.
