What is a code P06051

I had the "codes" ran on my 2002 Dodge Neon because I was having transmission shift problems. The error code that was given to me was: PO6051 Internal Control Modulator Rom Error. Does anyone know what this code means?

It sounds like the trans control module. Are you sure that is the correct trouble code? I have never seen one that long.

That is the code that I was given. I had the transmission fluid and filter replaced thinking it was that but it didnt help. It all started when the car wouldnt automatically shift into 3rd gear and the engine light is on. Whenever the shop turned off my service engine light the car shifted fine but when the light is on, it wont shift. Especially when cold started.

That would be my first guess, the trans control module (TCM).
