Check engine light
I can make the check engine light go out for 1 or 2 days by disconnecting the neg battery post for 1 hr. The light then comes back on--- same code 1684 ---Now I am not a brainiac but I need help on this one. Is there a way to correct this ???? How or can I reset the computer ???

Have the battery load tested-if okay could be a problem with the computer controlled of the alternator field generation circuit-
