I changed the plugs and wires and even the iginition coil. Don't know what else to do. But it backfires at the motor so makes me think something with the fuel supply. When you put your foot in it it starts to backfire and surgeing and then comes around. Other than that it runs fine. So didn't know if should try changing the fuel filter.

Check fuel pressure.

Could be running very lean from map sensor as well.
Is the check engine light on?

Yes check engine light on. Gave me misfire on cylinder 1. I checked the plug and the wire and they were fine. Also gave me an inlet air temp high as well. Would that have anything to do with it?

So even if I read the codes and it dosen't say anything about the map sensor it could still be bad? I just don't want to keep buying parts every other day to try to fix it. It's toss up between fuel filter or fuel pump. Unless it is this sensor. I don't have the tools or guages to measure the fuel pressure either. So I am at a lost on what else to do or pursue

You can rent the parts from a parts store

you need to resolve the missfire code. Could be low compression, vacuum leak, plug, wire or coil. Looking at the plug you cannot tell anything.
It is best not to replace anything till you determine the failure. Guessing is expensive and most of the time wrong
