Changing the fuel filter

My car is acting like there is a problem with the fuel filter. Where is it and can I change it? If so How?

The fuel filter, is not serviceable, shows to be part of the fuel pump module. Here is a guide to help

Hello,

The fuel filter is part of the fuel pump to replace it you must drop the tank and remove the fuel pump here is a guide to help you see what you are in for when doing the job.

Nope that is the only one this car has which is normal for many cars build past 2000

The fuel filter mounts inside the fuel pump module. Is non serviceable part. Have to replace the fuel pump module, according to my info.

You don't change it as maintainence. It is part of the fuel pump module. Very pricy and very questionable when it comes to design.

Droped gas tank turned key and it sounds like it is suckin air or something but not in lines and can not find any holes or tears
(sorry wanted to add that info)

Remove fuel filter and test pressure, no flow faulty pick up or crushed fuel line, flow at filter check system up stream for faults.

Thank you I have dropped the gas tank and the fuel pump is working pulled the codes and got p 0340 said it was the camshaft positioning sensor replaced that and still no luck read online that it could be the timing belt it is getting fire don't know where to go from here. Anybody have any suggestions.
