2002 Chrysler LHS Repair Question

Chrysler LHS Bushing Problem
I went to get my car aligned but he told me i had to get the k bearing or k bushings replaced before the alignment would do any good cause if you turned the wheel the alignment would be gone. what is the k bearing or k bushing
