2002 Concorde 2.7 Motor

Can anyone give me a opinion about the 2.7 engine that Chrysler put in the Intrepid and Concorde models. I am looking to buy a 2002 concorde but do not want to buy it if they had a engine problem. Thanks for any help

Chrysler has built some of the best engines in the industry. The 2.7L is not one of them. In fact, it's probably the worst one ever unless you stick to a very strict oil change schedule. The 3.5L is much better.
