2002 chevy malibu blinkers
My blinker will not stop ticking with the switch in the off position, they will just start ticking driving down the road all by themselves. I have replaced the hazard switch twice and that does not seem to help. Could it be the switch on the steering column itself?

If the signals are flashing, it could be the switch. However, if I recall correctly, the turn signal flasher is an integral component in the multi-function switch.
