Tachometer going crazy
I have a 2002 Chevy Cavalier
my battery light came on while i was going down the road, then my (ABS) light, then my TracOff, then my AC stopped working, next my tachometer started going crazy to keep my desired speed (i had the cruise control on at the time) it reached the "7" mark a couple times just to go 55 when i was already going 50. my wipers were working a lot slower than they should.
this all occurred in the course of maybe 30 seconds then everything went back to normal. no weird lights, ac came back on, wipers working fine.
i want to say there's a short somewhere but i have no idea.
What could this be?

Have the alternator and battery tested also make sure the battery cables are clean and tight.I would start there.
