I have a 2002 Cavalier. The defrost seems to work when I turn it on. It blows warm on any selection. The problem is that eventhough this works, I still get frost on the inside of the windows as I am driving down the road. This is very dangerous. If I crack the windows, sometimes this helps but not completely and this is very cold to drive this way. Any insite?

If you live in an extremely cold region, a block heater might help? Does the engine reach normal operating temp? Do the heater hoses get hot? Do all the blower speeds work?

You may have to let the vehicle warm up a bit before you take-off, if you have time.
