02 chevy blazer won't start!
I have a 2002 chevy blazer. it doesn't start unless i jump start it and runs fine when i do. i took it to the mechanic who says the fuel pressure regulator and the fuel pump needs replacement (700$) as well as a tune up. Is that too pricey? and necessary? what should i do?

if you can jump it then it souds like a battery/starter problem. have an auto parts store check your battery for charge andload test. start there first. he should also be able to seee if it's charges while it runs as well. if the fuel pump was bad then it wouldn't start or run if it was to low on pressure.
