Tir rod/center link

2002 Escalade~ after installing new brakes, my brother said I need the center link and/or tie rod fixed- he was able to move the front tire- how much should this cost me- rough estimate please-- Thank you! :)

The center link should be fine unless bent, the inner tie rod ends are replaceable. Ends are about 90-100 ea. From GM, and the labor to replace the ends is about an hour at shop rate. You are also going to need alignment after repair. Could be approximately 400 or so, total.

Thanks for responding so quickly gstacey, I appreciate your input.
I now have two very similar rough estimates. The work has to be
done I drove the car out of the showroom ten years ago with six mileages on it & this is the 1st real problem I've had. No complaints :)Thanks again.
