About three months ago my speedometer and odometer quit working on my cadillac. nothing else is wrong with the car. a buddy told me it looked like the windshield was replaced and it wasnt sealed properly. and he thinks the cluster that contains these two could have corrosion. cadillac said they could reset the computer and that should fix this. but my buddy said if there is a corrosion and the wire shorted out then resetting the computer wouldnt fix it and would waste $1000. what do you guys think? and is it that hard to pull the dash and check?
