OK I HAVE A 2000 BIUICK LESABRE LIMITED. MY WINDOW WAS DOWN AND GOT WET SOME MONTHS AGO. NOW I CANT GET ANYTHING FROM MY WINDOWS. MY DRIVER SIDE MASTER SWITCH LIGHTS UP BUT DOESNT CONTROL ANYTHING, SEATS OR POWER MIRRORS, NOR DOES THE PASSANGER SWICTH. I CAN TELL IM GETTING POWER TO MY BACK SWITCHS CAUSE WHEN I TRY TO LET THEM DOWN I CAN SEE THE DOME LIGHTS DIM. WELL THE WINDOW THAT WAS LEFT DOWN, HAS A 3 WIRE HARNESS. BLACK, BLUE AND BROWN. I SWITCHED THE BLUE AND BROWN AROUND AND WAS ABLE TO GET THE WINDOW TO GO UP, SO THE MOTOR IS WORKING BUT JUST ONE WAY. HOW CAN I GET THE OTHER WINDOWS TO WORK.

You'll hav eto physically check your window switch on the drivers side. If it sends power out to the window then it's a good chance it's a window motor or broken window regulator which isone piece. You hav eto check the fuse under your left rear seat as it may have just blown a fuse. The front nd rears have different modules. Yo'll wna tot check the driver module fuse.

ARE THE DRIVER MODULE FUSES DIFFERENT FROM THE 30 AMP FUSE THATS UNDER THE SEAT, OR IS IT THE SAME FUSE. ALSO HOW COME I WAS ABLE TO GET THE STUCK DOWN WINDOW UP BY SWITCHING THE BY TRADING PLACES WITH THE BLUE AND BROWN WIRE, WHAT DOES THAT MEAN.

By switching the blue and brown wire is confusing the module. So the module may have got wet an dscrewed it up. The only way to check this is through a dealer. Or if you traded it on the switch then the switch may be bad. You'll have to check and see if hter is power going to the up side as it may not besending power. If it is then the module is screwed up and you may be able to dry it out and it may work. The fuse under the seat is one for the rear module and the other for the front module.
