Why does my BMW 325i fan remains on after the engine is turned off?

The fan relay could be sticking

What fan is staying on the heater, a/c fan or the fan in front of the radiator?

The fan was a recall, the final stage was bad on a bunch of those. (No relay guys, final stage unit)
