I have nissan cabstar i have changed the motor with a imported4 liter diesel motor non turbo,nissan. It started giving problems, it starts +idles but does not want to rev ,if you pump the dieselpedal it sometimes comes right .I had the motor feulpump,+injectors overhauled. the same problem still exists

Have you checked the fuel delivery system for leaks allowing air to get into system?

Just before the fuel pump, use transparent hoses instead of normal fuel lines and while running , note if there are any air bubbles getting to the fuel pump.
