Hi. I have a 2001 Volvo V70 turbo 5-speed wagon that is giving me the message: Electric Power System Service Required. Curious if I can drive the car 10 miles to the mechanic. I put my OBDII hand held tester on it, and only got 2 emission codes.

As long as vehicle can be started and driven, you should be able to get it to the mechanic.
The warning could also be due to the emission codes you are getting.
