2001 Volkswagan Passat Seat warmer fuze

2001 Volkswagen Passat seat warmer stays on when button is off. Battery not holding charge. Is this the cause? If so, what do I do?

If the warmer is staying on, the switch is most likely faulty. And yes, this will greatly drain your battery.
