What to do if antifreeze gets in oil
Car burns oil...went to add some and accidentally put about an ounce of antifreeze in before I realized I had the wrong stuff....then added 2 quarts of oil...drove 50 miles and had oil changed. Check lite just came on...

You need to change the oil right away if coolant was added in place of oil. The coolant will damage bearings in the engine along with other items.
