Steering Wheel

At startup, steering wheel halts when pulling out of parking space, then this stops, happens only once a day. What is happening? Rear brakes done after front brakes last year. Took to have tires rotated this week. Mechanic sees front bushings on tiearm cracking. Does that explain it? He does not know.

Check the power steering fluid level and drive belt tension. A slipping belt can cause such symptoms. Bushings would not.
