Error codes

Recently had a new clutch and gearbox fitted in mr2 2001 tiptronic roadster, worked fine then all fuses blew, had a diagnostics check done at local Toyota which came back with 'a failure test showed error code for faulty sequential pump and acuator'.Surely this error code would not cause all fuses to blow?Would this error code show still if it was never cleared from when we had the gearbox and clutch replaced previously?

If it was never cleared, it will remain in the computer's memory. It sounds like you have a major short. Something was most likely pinched when the work was done.
