2001 Toyota Celica Repair Question

Toyota Celica Battery Problem
Last night I had to jump my battery and forgot to put the red cap back on. Today, the red cap fell underneath my engine and everytime I step on the gas I could hear a sound..is this a serious problem or can I just leave it there?

find it and remove it. you dont want it caught on anything
