I have a 2001 Suzuki esteem. The a/c works fairly well when going down the road. When we come to a stop sign or redlight, the compressor cycles on and off every 5 seconds or so. The a/c is pretty warm at this point. Enough to roll down the windows. When i bought the freon to add to the system it had the gauge built in. With the a/c wide open and it doing the cycling, the guage was way off the charts. When the compressor engaged it would come down to borderline safe level then peg the guage out. What could be the problem with this ac system.
