2001 SC had O2 sensor and small evac leak is this serious or hard to fix

I have a 2001 saturn 3 door coupe, I had a friend read the codes because my service enging light was on it said I have a problem with an o2 sensor and a small evac leak is this serious, im planning a long trip soon and want to fix the problem, also does fixing this cost alot

He didnt write the codes all he wrote was o2sensor bank 1 sensor 1, and EVAP emission control system leak small

That doesn't tell us anything. There are probably 30 or more different codes that refer to 0/2 sensors and most of them are not the fault of the sensor itself. As far as the EVAP leak, you will need a smoke machine to find the source of it and then you will be able to determine the cost to repair it.
