This dtc sets when actual commanded throttle plate position differs from commmanded position a calibrated amount more than.5 seconds.

This code may be set due to either mechanical faults or electrical circuits. Possible causes are. 1, Throttle plate movement limited by carbon deposits. 2, Circuit failure to throttle control motor. 3, Throttle position sensor not functioning properly. 4, Throttle body assembly failure.

Just to add to this one I know this is a stupid question asking this time of year but there is a buletine for that code setting from subfreezing temps. Also all the cars I have had setting that code have been to replace the connector to the throttle body and the throttle body itself also to add a connector wire hold down to hold the connector in place so engine vibration doesn't damage the wire again.I posted a list of the part numbers to replace. The throttle body has both throttle position sensors and the throttle motor built into it. Very common to replace the connector and throttle body connector for that code and other throttle code's. Also after throttle body replacement leave the key in the run position don't start it for at least 30 seconds to relearn the throttle body.
