2001 Saturn Astra Repair Question

Engine miss
When weather is hot and we run the air conditioner the car surges at a stop and misses when driving. The cooling fan then kicks in and runs wide open. The fan turns off when I turn the key off. I can wait for a period of time and it will run ok for a while.

the car is not an astra it is an l00 sedan

I'm afraid to drive it or let my wife drive it as it might breakdown

check to see if htere are any engine scan codes. check your fule pressure and check for a vacuum leak. You can also check for bad plugs or plug wires.
