Just turns over doesn't attempt to fire, but then leave for ten mins and try again and it starts straight away

SOMETIMES STARTS SOMETIMES DOESNT AND IT DOESNT MATTER WETHER HOT OR COLD, MY THOUGHTS ARE TDC OR CRANK SENSOR OR IMOBILISER. HOWEVER, WHEN I TRY TO START IT TURNS OVER OK BUT DOESNT ATTEMPT TO ACTUALLY FIRE ON ANY POTS, BUT THEN LEAVE IT FOR A WHILE AND IT WILL START ON FIRST TURN OVER AND THEN RUNS REALLY WELL SO I WOULD WELCOME A LITTLE HELP PLEASE
