I have a 2001 Renault Clio that is experiencing problem. When turning on the engine starts if sometime doesn't start and sometime will start and it also some like it cuts power or petrol when driving. Could you please advise on what could be the cause and a solution to the problem.

you need to have the fuel pressure checked to verify it is sufficient for operation.
check tune up components and make sure they are in good working order.

But could it be possible that the cause of the car to experience problem of starting is sensor & starter? and for the power or petrol cut is cause by petrol filter?

does it crank?? have you had the battery checked??? need more info
filter, no, it has a bypass. most likely the pump if that is the situation
