Pontiac Sunfire Steering Problem

Just bought a used 01 sunfire so I dont know the history of the car, how it was driven and previous repairs and what not. But I noticed that the front end (front driver side tire I think) makes a clunking noise when steering to the right. The noise is only noticeable at highway speeds and only when steering to the right. Its almost as if its making the noise when the vehicles weight shifts to the left. From what I have researched so far online it sounds like it could be the intermediate steering shaft, but have been unable to find anyone that has had the exact same symptoms, only similar ones.

So was just wondering what you thought.

Thanks for you time

IT could be that or a strut plate or other steering component.
