Hello,
After P0440 code started showing we replaced gas cap and fuel filler neck, which was badly corroded,
and fuel pump. Code was going on and off at times but mostly on. Also actually flashing when hard acceleration up hills. Then Code was popping on and off before new filler neck install.
After all the repairs we removed neg battery cable to hopefully reset computer, but code remains on.
Can you please give advice?

449 is evap canister purge valve problem. It may be ashort to wire or blown fuse or solenoid. You can replace solenoid and see if it goes away or tak eit to a pro and find the short. Fuse is eng1 underhood fuse block

Is it the Canister vent solenoid or Purge valve because through all the research it frequently showed as the canister vent solenoid?
Bravada has these symptoms with scan BEFORE clearing:
Code P0440, P0449 and (P0300-plugs and wires are 4-5 yrs old now)
AFTER clearing code-P0449 shows up.
Also when filling with fuel it sometimes makes pump nozzle click like it's reached full and shutting off.
Bravada engine also intermittently does a kind of "fibrillation" as I drive normal speeds, like as if its going to cut out.

Thanks

Canister vent or evap purge same thing. Try replacing it first. Alos check fuelp pressure with a gauge 60-66 psi. Try cleaning throttle plate on both sides with chokecleaner and iac hole as well.
