My car keeps bogging out and stalling please help single dad needs his only car running

I have a 2001 Mitsubishi galant ES with a 2.4 liter engine. The car keeps bogging out and turning off everytime i come to a stop. Sometimes it will not stall if the AC is on. I replaced the oxygen sensor because that was what the code said it was but that didn't help. I really need help know why it is doing this.

Codes don't tell you a component is bad. It only identifies the circuit that is malfunctioning.

Is the MIL still there and what code is that?

Idling is not stable causing the stalling. Have the throttle body and ISC (IAC) checked/cleaned.

The check engine light is off now. But it is still stalling when I stop.

Check/clean the throttle body and IAC.
