my car has been occasionally getting hot for the past few months. I replaced the thermostat about 6 months ago but it is still doing it.
At first it would only do it every couple of weeks. Then it wouldn't do it again. The past couple of days it has done it 3 times and I have heard a loud squealing nice followed by it getting hot. Then you can smell overheating smell.
