2001 MG ZR Repair Question

Acceleration

Mg zr 160vvc

acceleration when i foot it it gets all sluggish at 3 to 4 thousand revs after 4 its fine i got it checked out by few macanics and all saying diferent things but im going to get it diagnostic checks tomarow but no warning light comes on

all saying

cank sensor
coil packs


my car is D-CATED NO CAT ON IT
is it becouse of that its slugish



HELP ME BEFORE I GO SPEND SILI MONEY ON WHICH DONT NEED CHANGING

Lack of acceleration,chugging,hesitating********,bogging,misfiring etc. could be caused by one of the following below

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Crankshaft position sensor
Knock sensor
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard it and keep testing.

hi m8 similar issue with mine not to long ago and ended up being the throttle potentiometer.
