Car sputters when driving with A/C on
Going down the highway my van started to sputter almost like it was losing power and dying. Pulled off and turned A/C off and almost made it home and it did it again,Had no A/C on but pulled off and put in park and reved the engine and took off and made it the last 5 miles with no problems. Had Trans replaced with rebulit in 2010, new water pump,new timing belt. Fuel filter replaced 1 1/2 years ago. No engine checklight.

no mention of spark plugs, basic ignition. i would start with having them checked.

Sorry yes I have had the plugs & wires & cap/rotor replaced about 2 years ago. Could it be the fuel pump?

did you have the fuel pressure checked to verify??? expensive guess if you want to do this and it is not common for this issue.
injectors need to be checked as well.
