Bad alternator, belt or ac needs filled>? or something else
I own a 2001 mercury sable.and there is no noticable performane problems in rpms or driving , recently when i idle my car i hear a sound like rubbing metal, (exactly like bad breakpads), like liquid coming from somewhere by alternator, belts. the sound goes away when i drive. t

It could be a loose/worn belt. Check the belt tension and condition for a start.
