While driving at any speed the anti theft light comes on. The car starts to loose power as like it has ran out of gas (which isnt the case). Sometimes the power returns and everything is fine then other times it stalls the car. It starts right back up and can drive it sometimes for awhile without it stalling on me again. What is the problem? The dealer is across town, wants me to bring it in and Im afraid I will stall out on the highway and cause a very bad accident. It has 125000 miles on it.

Does the check engine light come on when it starts losing power?

Could be caused by one of the following below

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Crankshaft position sensor
Knock sensor
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard it and keep testing.
