2001 mercury mountaineer. Radiator froze, thawed out and refilled radiator, no leaks seen. I let it idle to normal operating temp and still no leaks. I drove it for several miles with no problems until I got to highway speeds. At 60-65 started shaking violently but still no visible leads from radiator or anywhere else. Is this related to the cooling system freezing or by some chance has something else gone wrong?

Did the check engine light come on since this happened?
Did it overheat at all?

Someone is going to have to determine if this problem is actually coming from the engine or not. If it is, the PCM should be seeing something irregular.
