I have a 2001 SLK. When I put the car into drive it first kicks. Then once it starts moving I do not hear it move out of first to second gear. It stays in first at all times. I have driven it a few times and had to stop because I new it was bad for the car. The last time though I had a hard time getting it from drive back into park and when my hand was on the shifter I could feel a clicking going on every 10 feet say.

Any ideas? Help!!1
