I recently purchase a used car, but it is constantly failing emission tests. The catalyst and oxygen sensor constantly give reports of "not ready." A mechanic already suggested that I replace a defective oxygen sensor (which I did), but I continue to get the same two errors. I have also had issues with the battery constantly being drained. Any input would be appreciated.
