My Mazda pick-up makes this loud, whirring noise when i push the accelerator too far(no very far at all). I know it isn't the idler pulley It started it without the belt on and still had the noise) and I've tried starting fluid on possible intake cracks. There is no engine light on and I have noticed a lack of power on interstate hills that a V6 should be able to handle. This has stumped three mechanics on a recent road trip.
