I have had 2 mechanics look at my Lexus & don't show any electrical draw in the system but if it sits for 2-3 consecutive days without being started the battery will be dead. I have been taking the negative battery cable off the battery when I am not going to be using the vehicle everyday and it starts fine when I put the cable back on battery. Again I have a former Toyota mechanic look at it last week & he pluddedout the relay and it showed no draw on the electrical system. I am going to carry it back by in the next 2 days to have him retest to see if there is a draw on the electrical system. Then I am going to try not to drive over the weekend and see if it wil start Monday mornig. The 1st mechanic couldn't find any draw on the system but I let it set for 2-3 days and it wouldn't start, battery dead. I fear this will be a repeat of the same experience as the 1st attempt.
What other problems do you recommend looking at? It is a slow draw because if you drive it everyday it works OK?

Because of electronics all cars have a slight draw on them. Have your battery tested including load test autoparts/triestores do for free. It may b ethe battery is bad even if it's ayear old.

The only other th ing that I can think of would be the alternator causing the draw. The diodes inside are one way an dmay have gone bad. If you can reach the large wire and pullit out or disconnect it then leave it over a weekend then see if it will start. If it does you know what the problem is. I don't think an alternator would show up on a draw test as it gets power all the time anyhow. I've had this happen years ago on me.
