2001 Lexus IS 300 Vents inside the car

I'm getting steam out of the inside vents, including the defroster vents and loosing coolant. The AC stopped working last month and Sears said it had too much pressure on the low side. Is this a problem with my AC, heater or both?

You have a leaking heater core that is causing the steam and loss of coolant, as far as you ac, it sounds like you have a restriction somewhere. The heater core is about a 5 hour job to replace and does require some specific tools and skills.
